A former Nigerian Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, has been accused of robbing half of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) from a member of parliament in the United Kingdom. Naija News sources that during the House deliberation on the aftermath of the EndSARS protest on Monday, November 23, the British parliament member made the accusation and potential punishments to be levied on top Nigerians over the roles they played in the killing of unarmed demonstrators at the Lekki toll gate. “What we are seeing in Nigeria today is part of that story,” the parliamentarian said. We’re all watching a disaster, and we see things falling apart. This time the issue is not the international pressure known as colonialism. Abuse and aggression and attempts at domination (of power) are the pressure instead. We have to point out injustice, we have to use the forces we have in this country to deter and conceal those who benefit from the riches of that great nation. Some people will now note that when General Gowon left Nigeria, he took half of the Central Bank, so it is said and went to London.
