Nigerian music stars, Omah Lay and Tems Arrested in Uganda

Nigerian rising singer Stanley Didibia known by stage name “Omah Lay” alongside Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems, were arrested at Uganda for violating covid 19 restrictions. The news of the arrest were made public on social media, on Sunday, December 13 by the assistant superintendent of police in Uganda identified as Owoyesigyire (@lukowoyesigyire). According to the police spokeperson in Uganda “Owoyesigyire (@lukowoyesigyire)” the managers of the venue where the concert was held have also been nabbed by the police. He said: “Nigerian Artist Omah lay has been arrested by katwe police, the manager of the venue one Dungu Ivan and the Events manager Prim Kasana are also in custody.” He also made known in another post that Tems and her Manager Muyiwa Awomiyi, were also arrested.
